Thank you to The Adventures of a Day Hiker who kindly nominated me. The Adventures of a Day Hiker is a beautifully written hiking, photography and outdoors blog, definitely worth checking out. I’ve already put a couple of hikes on my to do list thanks to this blog.

Will you please describe your blog in a few sentences?
Weekend Campervanning is a blog that I started because I wanted to share about our outings/trips usually taken in our campervan that we just got last year. It gives me the greatest joy to find out that someone tried something, whether it be a hike, a trip or a recipe because of something I shared.
Why do you blog?
I absolutely love to write and take pictures, I’m a newbie photographer, but it is fast becoming an obsession of mine.
What is your favorite place you have traveled to?
We took a trip to Japan traveling from Tokyo to Osaka by train and stopping at all the places in between.
What is your favorite National Park (if it is not the answer to question 3)?
Yosemite National Park, oh wait, Grand Canyon (sorry, it’s a tie).
How long have you been blogging?
Since March, so that makes it about 2 months.
When you’re not blogging, what are you doing?
Enjoying the outdoors! Playing volleyball, and watching my daughter play volleyball (a lot of it!). Oh, and that other stuff to be able to pay for enjoying the outdoors, my background is in molecular microbiology (see why I blog?).
What is your favorite beer?
I’m actually more of a wine drinker (zinfandel, woohoo!)
What 5 places top your Travel Bucket List?
All the National Parks (that counts as one right?), Fiji, Australia, Bora Bora, France
How many states have you been to?
About 20
What are your favorite hikes?
So far, most hikes in Yosemite. The recent one we took in Pinnacles National Park was pretty fantastic, too. Can’t forget all the coastal hikes in California, so beautiful.
What was your best wildlife sighting?
Animals on safari in Masai Mara, Africa, the sheer number of animals was astounding.
